Last Saturday, my wife and I took a venture to Ingleside to enjoy some homemade Root Beer, Coney Dogs, a Texas Burger, Classic Cars and listen to live music at Miller's Dog N Suds. This is truly a Lake County landmark as this original 50s style drive-in features car hops and much more. I was extremely pleased to see how many people where in attendance! It was great to see people dancing to the music, looking at the classic cars and enjoying the ambiance.

My wife and I ordered Root Beers and some food and found a seat in the picnic area. The car hops were busy all night, always delivering food and drinks. Our food came to us very quickly. The Root Beer is the best Root Beer that my wife and I have ever had! Simply amazing! The food is pretty good as well. We walked around and looked at the classic cars; listened to the music and had a fantastic Saturday night at Miller's Dog N Suds and cannot wait to go back. With this being the last weekend of the season to experience Riptide Bay at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, I knew I had to try and surf and go down Dive Bomber before the weather turned to fall. A couple of weeks ago I headed to Six Flags full of excitement. I always wanted to be a California Surfer as a kid and this was my chance to see what I could do. Well it was nothing like I expected and unfortunately my dreams of being a surfer may have come to the realization that it would not happen. I also decided to check out Dive Bomber, now I am not a fan of heights but I wanted to conquer this fear anyways. You step inside a capsule and the lifeguard then shuts the door, and after waiting a few seconds the floor drops out from beneath you and down you go. It was a thrill of my life and something I definitely will be doing next summer again. I will also be continuing to try and surf at Riptide Bay as I was hooked on the Surfing simulator.
